In Pirate Galaxy there is many different ships, all suited for different tasks.

Spielerschiffe
Players use ships to play Pirate Galaxy. You will start with basic ships, the Beginner Ships. If you continue your journey you will unlock more ships. However, you need a certain level to buy them. Every System has it's own set of ships, some have even more ships. Most ships can be categorized in different groups. Down here are all of the groups:
Schiffsklassen
There is several types of class, here is a list of all Ship Classes. If you need help choosing your class click here.
* = Only available in and after the Sol System
** = Only available in the Draconis System

Feindliche Schiffe
There are also enemy ships in Pirate Galaxy. There are 2 types of enemy ships, all with there own look and technology.

Mantisschiffe
These enemy ships are from Mantis. They can not be used by players. There are many Mantis Ships. Here is a list of them and what items they use.
Imperial Ships
These ships are seen in the Sol System and are not seen anywhere else. They are from the Imperial Humans. They can not be used by players however a Imperial Signor can be used by Game Masters. There are many Imperial Ships. Here is a list of them and what items they use.
Andere Shiffe
Storyschiffe
These ships are from Characters and are seen only in story missions. They can not be used by players. Here is a list of them and what items they use.
NPC Schiffe
These ships are from NPC Humans, unlike story ships they are not seen in story missions. They can not be used by players. Here is a list of them and what items they use.
